More Stuff

Well on Sunday Gramma and I met Ted and Sue and the kids at their house and they took us out to dinner. I wish I had some pics, :-(  cause it was a really fun night. We went to a Japanese restaurant and sat at an hibachi grill. The chef came and cooked our food right in front of us. He was really good and really funny. Throwing food at us and trying to get us to catch it in our mouths, squirting Saki in Grampa's mouth. (Not bad) I admit I was a bit apprehensive at first, (you know what a fussy eater I am) but the food was really good. Even the noodles and sauce and vegetables. So thank you T&S, we had a really good time.

Ok  back to TGSA. On one of the days that I had to sit around waiting we took the kids to New Orleans to the children's museum.

To get there you have to drive over miles of bridges that go over the swamps. !!!????

Then you have to drive over Lake Pontchartrain. New Orleans is like eight feet below sea level. !!??? Why do they live there?

 Skyline.
This is a house that is entirely covered in vines. Almost didn't get the pic. The front, the back, the sides, the roof, even the little shed. Weird.
Streetcar on Claiborne Ave. This is like the main thoroughfare through town.
Bourbon St. The side streets are very tiny.
A famous place, I guess. I was driving while Mommy was taking the pics. My camera battery died after awhile and she took pics with my phone. If I ever figure out how to get them out of the phone, I'll post them, cause there are some cool pics on there. Still more to come. Hang in there.
