Christmas was good this year, as usual. Ted, Sue and the kids came for Christmas Eve dinner. Gramma made all the good stuff. Swedish meatballs, Swedish sausage, roasted potatoes, corn, lasagna, garlic bread. We forgot to put out the lefsa, so I guess I'll have to eat that myself. Darn!
The kids had some presents to open.Mary got pink boots.
Russ got a micro race set.
They brought some goodies to eat including Gramma and Grampa ginger bread people. Unfortunately later that night Gramma lost her head. No pics, too gruesome. On Christmas Day we went to Jess' and spent some time with her. We got to meet Lowell finally. I was on my best behavior so as to not scare him away and it went really well. Nice guy. Of course, I'll be watching.
Last night when I went to put the chickens to bed I found my little Lucy frozen in the horse pen. :-( She has really been showing signs of old age lately, so I knew it would be coming, but it's still sad for me. I guess some chickens can live to 20 years and some only a few. Sad, but that's life on the farm. Bye.
I noticed that the author here didn't mention how the Gramma gingerbread lost her head though.....???? Kinda suspicious if you ask me.
